Mission:
To help identify and reduce environmental concerns and issues in the Rose Park area by forming community partnerships, performing an environmental assessment, gathering community input, and providing education and environmental stewardship.
Goals
· Bring together a Community Action Committee for the Rose Park Area;
· Identify and prioritize environmental health threats to the Rose Park community;
· Regardless of primary language; all residents have access to information to address environmental concerns and how to be protected against them;
· Promote practical means to remove or reduce environmental threats.
Community Action Committee (CAC)
· Work with USEE to identify environmental health threats to the community and identify community partners.
· Assist with the design of and participate in a series of 6 Stakeholder meetings to collect knowledge and interest of environmental issues among the community.
· Advise USEE with partnership opportunities to help the Rose Park community reduce or remove environmental threats.
