Item 3 Crime Report–Each month the Salt Lake City Police Department prepares a report of criminal activityfor each Community Council area. Statistics show that crime is lowered in part, due to goodcitizens keeping a watchful eye on our homes and streets and reporting concerns to our SLC Police officers in a timely way. The full crime report may be viewed by going to www.slcpd.com then click on Crime Maps and Statistics and choosing Community Council Report. Keep an eye on your neighborhood! Get involved! Item 7 CERTSalt Lake City is interested in finding representatives throughout the City interested inparticipating in the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) efforts. The CERT program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area, and train them in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. CERT is a fantastic way to be involved and helpful in your community.
