Writing for Change

Filed under: Other — Baker @ 7:26 pm

The SLCC Community Writing Center (CWC) is partnering with the SLC Library to promote civic engagement, specifically through writing.  We are asking the public to write letters to public officials of their choice on a matter that concerns them (we will assist in locating the relevant officials).  The Writing for Change events are held at the various city library branches and the next event is January 18 at the Day Riverside Branch Library.   These events are for all ages; we have had writers as young as 5 write letters.
